Original Structure
This project, for my restoration design studio, looked at the decaying buildings in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Bridgeport is a melting pot of cultures and ethnicities and is becoming a popular area particularly for artists. South Morgan St. is a central path through the neighborhood and is lined with two and three flat structures. I took one of these buildings and digitally restored the exterior, putting a flower shop on the lower level.
